In this moment we are restoring a 1958 Sliding window BMW Isetta to totally original conditon, nuts and bolts restoration.
This car was delivered originally as en European version on September 4th, 1958 to Fendler & Lüdemann in Hamburg Germany, then was exported to Chile probably from Belgium as a CKD that means the car didn´t came complete to avoid taxes and then usually on the Chilean market were assambled as an US version with US tail and front turn lights ,US bumpers and nerf bars (but keepin the small european front lights), that was standard in the 60s in Chile, based on this "mix" history of the car which is part European version and part US/Export version plus the fact that was exported we decided to restore the car as an US/Export version to the last detail.
