Dave Major Mr. Aerocar 600 is now Mr. Aerocar Isetta with his new snow and land Isetta equiped with a 190 HP 1945 Lycoming engine!!!!!

My 57 Isetta has a 1945 Lycoming 0-435-11 six cylinder aircraft engine that was used on the US Air Force Stinson L-5 from WW II. This aircraft was known at "The Flying Jeep" and later models could carry a stretcher. It's rated at 190 HP at 2550 rpm.
My vehicle was built by a military man in Michigan back in the 1960s. These type of home made contraptions were known as "Snow Planes". He built it to race on the frozen lakes before snowmobiles were common. It was said to have gone 120 mph on the 3 skies that are easily attached.
I plan to completely restore it & display it in car and air shows around the USA.

I went to my first ArtCar event with my new artcar last week.
A part of this video was on the ABC- TV Station in Hastings ,Nebraska, Aug 23.
If you look closely you can see the TV cameraman about half way through. I had a great time in NE.
