Another New Isetta design!
Not an official design, but one conception by Theophilus Chin Automotive Manipulator, beautiful!
Ever wondered how a modern Isetta would look like if BMW decides to put it into production? Theophilus Chin ‘wondered’ about it and whipped one up with his excellent ‘photoshop’ skills. BMW may not produce such a mirco car, but rumor has is that the Isetta name will be resurrected and used to designate the auto maker’s upcoming sub-brand for electric cars. BMW had long hinted the revival of the Isetta, a car BMW licensed from a refrigerator manufacturer back in the 50s with doors that (you guessed it) opens like a fridge; with the handles as well. Now of course Munich couldn’t possibly mimic the original Isettas fridge door in the modern reincarnation, as that could potentially score a Euro NCAP No-Star in front collisions; what got us thinking thou, is rather how will BMW implement their current design language onto something so miniscule? Especially with the kidney grills?
